The open concept floor plan includes a swank sunken living room, large well-stocked kitchen, dining room with table-seating for 10, and an additional conversational lounge area with vintage cocktail cart to serve up those ice-cold drinks. All along the back of the house are walls of glass that blur the lines between indoor and outdoor living in true Palm Springs style. With four bedrooms (including two masters w en-suites) there's plenty of room to spread out or seek some alone time.
THE GREAT OUTDOORS
Your own private sanctuary. The angled placement of the house gives the property a fresh, untypical sweep of outdoor space, with stunning mountain views. There's sunshine in abundance but also--plenty of shade spots--allowing those with limited tolerance for the sun's rays to enjoy both the pool and yard during daytime. An abundance of trees include orange, tangerine, lime, fig and grapefruit--from which you can enjoy fresh fruits in season. A covered patio with large glass dining table and BBQ grill invite outdoor diners; and another seating area is perfect for cards, games or enjoying drinks. Two hammocks under the grove are perfect for snoozing or curling up with a good book. reading. The large pool (with deep and shallow ends) can be enjoyed by all, and the separate spa easily seats 6-8. You'll find poolside chaise lounges, a large shade umbrella and spray misters for your comfort. Spectacular at dawn or sunset, you'll be wanting to take in the breathtaking views and desert breezes in this luscious oasis.
THE LIVING QUARTERS
A recently remodeled kitchen has ample space for busy cooks, with counter seating for watchers and nibblers. A full complement of appliances and cooking utensils are waiting for preparation of holiday meals or just serving snacks and beverages. A separate laundry room answers your cleaning needs. In the sunken living room, guests can enjoy a 55" HD TV and VCR, with premium cable channels and Netflix log-on. In home Wi-Fi is available throughout. A working fireplace awaits those rare cool nights in wintertime. Guests can choose from two master bedroom suites, located on opposite ends of the house, plus another two bedrooms--all unusually large by Palm Springs standards--with enormous closets, three-speed fans and quality linens. Each master suite contains its own 30" HD TV, and has direct access to the outside. In addition to the three king size beds, and one queen, there's plenty of extra room for the occasional overflow guest.
Driving is completely optional while staying at the Pink Martini - which is conveniently located in the always requested Movie Colony East neighborhood. You'll be less than a mile from the world famous Palm Canyon Drive as it cuts through the hip and trendy Uptown Design District with its fine dining, coffee houses, night clubs, boutiques and art galleries. Ruth Hardy Park (featuring the lovely desert Wellness Walk and free Saturday morning Yoga) is just a quick half mile from your front door. The Convention Center, the Casino, and the Palm Springs Tram are all very close. And you'll be in walking distance to a number of stops for The Buzz, the City's free trolley service that whisks you up and down Palm Canyon Drive, Thursday through Sunday. Palm Springs also has a very reliable Uber network. So getting around town is easy, especially from this central location. Martinis or not, you'll feel in the pink.
