This luxury Palm Springs property (circa 1965) sits on a quarter of an acre, and was recently remodeled by Palm Springs famed interior designers H3K Home+Design. Experience what life might have been like in the 50s and 60s, updated to today’s ultimate Palm Springs lifestyle and modern comforts. Mid-Mod Paradise is not just a beautiful one-of-a-kind Palm Springs home, it’s also an entertainer’s dream with an amazing Chef’s kitchen, vintage Malm-style fireplace and sliding door with walls of glass leading to the heated pool with amazing mountain views.

OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES
This mid-century modern dream home is all about easy living and relaxing in the sunshine. Beautifully landscaped and completely walled for privacy with hedges, the lovely setting features towering palm trees surrounding the pool, showcasing the stunning mountain views. Perfect inground heated pool, spa, BBQ and covered alfresco dining area await with ample outdoor seating and pass through bar seating at the kitchen window. All the amenities you want on vacation - it’s the perfect place for relaxing the Palm Springs way.

** The pool will be heated to 83 degrees upon request with an additional service fee. Please let us know if you'd like to heat the pool so we can ensure it is heated before your arrival. Spa heating is included with your rental at no extra cost **

INDOOR LIVING SPACES
The interior was recently remodeled by famed Palm Springs interior design company, H3K Home+Design. You’ll notice the details in the art and furnishings as you walk through the home with a wood feature wall, and incredible mid-century modern styling. The home also includes a table shuffleboard game in the living room! Don’t forget that you’ll be cooking in a Chef’s gourmet kitchen with custom cabinetry, Subzero refrigerator, Viking expanded range, Miele appliances, built-in steamer, metal shelves, and pass-through window to back patio. A large dining area, great for entertaining, is open to the kitchen and offers a vintage Malm-style fireplace and sliding door leading to the heated pool with west facing mountain views.

** The term "Pets Allowed” or “Pets Accepted" at an ACME House Company vacation rental means that we welcome dogs only. No other pets are allowed. **

SLEEPING QUARTERS
Each bedroom is beautifully decorated and has a flat screen television, hotel-quality mattress, and ample storage, each with its own en suite bathroom and a sliding door leading to a private patio or direct access to the pool area with its covered back patio. The property also features a separate powder room near the kitchen and dining area.

  • No Music is allowed outside of the rental home (at any volume)
  • Parking is restricted to 1 car per bedroom in designated parking spaces.
  • Pets are not allowed in Non-Pet Friendly Properties
  • Please do not exceed the max occupancy of the home
  • All rentals require state and county tax plus additional required fees
  • Damage waiver covers renter for up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the property. If the damage protection is declined, an additional $5,000 security deposit is required
  • The pool and spa are heated upon request with an additional service fee. Please let us know if you'd like to heat the pool and spa so we can ensure it is heated before your arrival.

Reservations booked within 72 hours of arrival require additional verification to provide identity and avoid fraudulent bookings including live video chats with staff members that are recorded.

CANCELLATION/REFUND

Direct Bookings on www.acmehouseco.com or Via Phone* for stays of 28 days or less:

  • 100% Refund for Cancellations within 48 Hours of Making Booking. 
  • 30 days or more prior to the Arrival date, ACME House Company will process a 100% refund of all Reservation Charges, except the Booking Fee. 
  • Greater than 48 hours from Booking and between 8 & 29 days prior to arrival, guests will receive a partial refund of 50% of all Reservation Charges, except Booking Fee.
  • 7 days or less prior to arrival, 100% of All Reservation Charges are considered earned.

*Bookings on third-party websites: If you do not book directly with ACME (www.acmehouseco.com), your reservation IS subject to cancellation policies for the website on which you booked. Please refer to the policies on the site you booked for their cancellation policy.

Wonderful Time

We stayed there recently at the Mid Mod Paradise home and had a wonderful time. The space was incredibly well laid out with four good sized bedrooms, each with their own bath and outside access. The kitchen was well-equipped and we enjoyed the outside dining area and two comfortable sitting areas. Having the backyard pool, hot tub and fire pit made for a very enjoyable stay. The indoor and outdoor spaces were decorated nicely and were very comfortable for our family. Our three adult sons and their spouses joined us for a week, and we were pleased with how much there was to do in the area. Please thank the owners for us. All the best, Marianne

We travel to PS every year with a group of friends for Modernism Week. This year we were a smaller group so the 4 bedroom was perfect. Each room had its own bathroom which was a major plus. The chef’s kitchen was fantastic and the pool was delightful. Communication with the Property Management was on par and the house was clean and ready for us. We appreciated the early check in and late check out. It made it feel like the perfect length for our weekend getaway. It would have been nice to use the espresso machine and living room Malm fireplace, otherwise this place was perfect. The garage parking and plug in for our 2 EVs was a wonderful perk! We try new places every year, but this one would be worth another stay!

The BEST Family Vacation Spot

The house was incredible! It lives up to the photos. The bedrooms were away from the living areas, making them cozy and quiet for late to risers and early to bed-ers. The TV had access to many streaming networks, so we could watch lots of Disney movies with the kids. The kitchen was gorgeous and stacked with all the cooking tools. It was such a great gathering space. And the pool! The tall palm trees and mountain view made splashing around that much more fun. The steps were easy for little kids to get in and out. We can’t wait to go back!

Mid Mid Paradise is the perfect name for this pristine mid-century modern home. The property was stunning inside and out, with distinctive furniture, like a freestanding fireplace in the living room overlooking the pool, and modern upgrades, like built-in sous vide and espresso machines. In true ACME House Co. style, the stay was impeccable, too. Check in and check out were a breeze, the house was spotless, and the kitchen was even stocked with upgraded essentials--including good quality olive oil and excellent coffee. Would we stay here again and rebook with ACME in the future? Absolutely, yes! ?

Perfect family getaway

We were a family of two grandparents and two daughters with spouses and one little one each. This home was perfect for all of our needs. Each couple had their own large bedroom and bath and two of the bedrooms had pool access right out the door. The home provided two huge dining room tables to comfortably seat 8 (one inside and one outside). Kitchen was wonderful for cooking big meals. We all really loved this home. Thank you!

Great location and property

The property was exactly like the description but I would say the pictures don’t do it justice especially the back yard. Overall I would definitely stay here again. The one piece I think should be more clear in the listings is the noise ordinance piece. It is really tough to have such a nice place and backyard and have no ability to play music at all. For what you spend on a place like this it feels like a big miss, not the property managers fault.
