Secluded Getaway

"Overall it was an amazing house and amazing backyard. Only negative was the fire pit was basically useless. The flame was so weak."

"This home has a wonderful backyard with really great outdoor amenities. The beds were very comfy, the home was clean and check-in was super easy. My only feedback is that the kitchen could use some more supplies such as serving trays, dip and chip bowls, outdoor pool friendly wine and cocktail plastic glasses, cloth napkins and other touches to help with hosting a nice dinner. I would definitely stay here again, though!"

"This place is great! Fantastic back yard and pool/hot tub. Not sure how they managed it, but even after a week of record temps, the pool was a perfect mid-80s temp, and the hot tub warned up very quickly! The kitchen was well equipped and everything worked perfectly. The beds are ok, as long as you like a very firm mattress. They provided plenty of towels, mad a varient of different pillows to choose from. This place is walking distance to grocery (.5 miles), and a Starbucks. There is also a little italian deli woth sandwiches and pasta dishes, as well as froaen pastas. Great for cooling at home... All in all this was a great place to stay. Would definitely chose it again!"

Sunrise Getaway - Thanksgiving 2019

"Overall we had a good experience. The highlight was the backyard/pool/hot tub & bocci ball court, however we had some rain so we wish we had better weather to enjoy it. Inside the home was nice but some areas seemed to need freshening up like paint around the base boards, doorways etc. Kitchen appliances worked OK but dishes and plates were worn and looked dirty. There was a lack of good cookware and utensils in a variety of sizes. The HomeAway internet was terrible so luckly there was a homeowner backup. The Driectv was also terrible. Garage door to enter laundry area was difficult to operate and a bit dangerous. The fireplace was loud with low flame so didn't seem worth it to use it. Last question below I answered YES but wish I had the choice of MAYBE depending on what else is available."

Acme is great as was our Property

"Fabulous experience. I would rent this property again. It has a few hiccups for a family such as laundry in the garage which you access from outside through a padlocked door. Th beds are pretty hard for multiple nights. However, the pluses outweigh the issues. The yard is fantastic, large sunny space. The pool and hot tub work well. The location turned out to be very central to the things we wanted to do. Acme was at our service as always and I truly appreciate their great customer service."

Be very, very, quiet!

"First, aside from what Vacation Rental Company you use, be aware that the City of Palm Springs is cracking down on short term rentals... be prepared for strict rules posted and signs threatening eviction!
Next, my only complaint... the beds were hard as rocks... so hard I thought of putting outdoor furniture cushions on the bed.
The kitchen was randomly stocked so one had to get creative, but hey that's kind of the fun of rentals, right..?
The pool, hot tub, yard, etc was awesome... but back to the noise ordinance... don't enjoy it too much and guffaw out loud, you might get kicked out!!! We were constantly doing perimeter checks to make sure the neighbors couldn't hear us and hushing each other when outside later in the evening... not sure I'd call that relaxing.
Overall, if you are very, very quiet, and don't mind a very firm bed, I give this rental two thumbs up! "

Perfect Getaway - Highly Recommend

"We had a perfect family getaway to Palm Springs - enhanced by this wonderful house. The outside area is exactly what you see in the pictures and was wonderful - great heated pool, perfect hot tub that came up to temp quickly, large grill and several seating areas - plus a bonus bocce ball court (even my very spry 87-year old mother won a few games).

The entire property was very clean and well maintained - inside and out. Also LOVED the location as we had people coming/going from the airport and could easily get anywhere. Acme was very easy and professional to work with - right down to our concierge who greeted us on property the evening of arrival.

Highly, highly recommend Sunrise Getaway!"

Fabulous Mid Century Home

"We had a great experience renting the Sunrise Getaway. I am a lap swimmer and it is only half a mile to the beautiful Palm Springs Municipal pool. The home was very clean and well decorated. The backyard couldn't be better ..pool, Bocce Ball, Patio, Hammock ..I love the location as well. So close to the Palm Springs city center. "

Sun Haven

"Sun Haven is a wonderful home. It has all the amenities you could expect, and the entire experience for the week I spent there was incredible. The house itself is beautiful, the pool private, the fireplace, the TV, everything is accessible. I loved this place, and could easily see myself renting this home again. In fact it felt so much like a home it was heartbreaking to leave it!"

July 4th Getaway

"Love the house and the amenities. We were in the perfect location for all the activities we wanted to do with the kids and the concierge was sweet and friendly. Would have loved to enjoy the the hammock pictured in the photos but didn't see it in the backyard. We also noticed a few pest around the house each day that made it a little uncomfortable. Other than that we had a great vacation. "

Great house, no storage

"I was pretty happy with the house but there is not enough storage space for a group of 6. The kitchen counter tops are not joined evenly either."

Great Vacation! Great House!

"The house was perfect. The pool yard was really nice and well appointed. The location worked very well for us - close to everything. High ratings for how well the house was maintained. The furniture and art seemed very high end and expensive. Very positive overall experience but the management team wouldn't allow us to check out late because there was someone checking in that day. 10:00 am was just way too early to have to check out and we think they should have let us stay till noon. "

Manager Response: Thanks for the feedback George - especially for pointing out how well the house was maintained. It is really difficult for us to extend checkout on a day when someone else is checking in. We just can't get the house up to our guests standards in 3 hours. If someone requests/reserves a late departure in advance we can usually preplan for a larger clean team to come in to do the turn. We do need that advanced notice though. But the important thing is that you enjoyed your stay and had an overall positve experience.

Loved this Property!

"We had a reservation with another management company who flaked on us at the last minute. They had nothing suitable as a substitute. We had read a lot of great things about Acme so we turned to them when it looked like our vacation was about to fall apart. The Acme team was amazing. So helpful. We will always go to them first in the future. Sunrise Getaway was absolutely lovely. Spacious, clean, very well maintained and gorgeous. I feel a little sheepish about only giving 4 stars because it really is a beautiful property in a very nice neighborhood. But we really missed staying in the Las Palmas neighborhood. For those of you who are not married to Las Palmas - this property is a very good choice."

Felt like home...only better!

"We loved our stay! As much as we loved the house, we lived outside. Beautiful mountain views, lounging in the pool, hot tub, hammock, and loungers...bocce ball court, outdoor grilling, and fire pit. Honestly, there isn't anything they didn't think of including. Indoors was a cool respite with the crisp colors and mid-century design. The open kitchen and dining area were perfect for entertaining our guests. The house is very well appointed with everything we needed...and immaculate. Can't wait to return! Thank you for our stay."

"We had read about Acme House Company in a Chicago magazine. Then friends of ours told us they use Acme every time they go to Palm Springs. More than one friend told us to either stay in a hotel or rent a vacation home from Acme because Acme Houses are always very clean and well maintained.. Sunrise Getaway was like dream. The house felt so comfortable. I''m a clean freak and even I was impressed with how spotless it was when we arrived. I didn't love the neighborhood, I would have preferred to be further south and a bit more away from town. But my husband and teenage kids thought the location was just great. Best part was the whole family playing bocce ball. Thanks Acme!"
