The property owners spend a lot of time here themselves. So they thought of everything when creating this Mid Mod escape. Private pool yard with a covered outdoor living pavilion, al fresco dining, and a hardline gas BBQ grill. There’s an outdoor shower, mini golf, and bocce - plus ping pong in the garage! There are 6 flat screen televisions, high-speed internet access, and Spectrum cable. Off street parking.

OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES
The outdoors captures the glamour and relaxation of Palm Springs living! Walled and gated for privacy with spectacular mountain views everywhere you look. The in-ground pool is surrounded by lounge chairs and shade umbrellas as well as a 4-hole mini golf course and poolside shower. The covered outdoor pavilion has a living room, dining area and gas BBQ offering shaded respite from the desert sun. The front yard is walled for privacy and features a dedicated bocce court, plenty of seating, and a hammock - perfect for an afternoon nap!

** The pool will be heated to 83 degrees upon request for an additional service fee (prices vary depending on home). Please let us know if you'd like to heat the pool so we can ensure it is heated for your arrival.

INDOOR LIVING SPACES
True to the vision of Mr. Alexander and his architects Palmer and Krisel, you'll find clean lines, a large open concept floor plan, post and beam ceilings, and walls of glass that blur the lines between indoor and outdoor living. The hi-style designer wallpaper and mid century-inspired furnishings will make you feel like you’ve stepped back to a more fabulous time. Living room, dining and kitchen are all open to each other - providing enough space for your entire group to gather, relax and enjoy. The great room has comfortable seating, a flat screen TV and a fireplace - while the completely remodeled kitchen is thoughtfully planned and has extra bar seats at the peninsula. The dining area has an expansive table for 10 of your closest friends and a swanky mirrored wet bar. As an added bonus, there is a “Zoom Room” featuring a flat screen TV, couch, and desk - perfect for remote working or learning. In the garage you’ll find a ping pong table - one of many fun activities provided in this home. Everything has been reimagined for the way we live today, with high-speed internet, 6 flat screen TVs, and high-performance climate control. Alexander on Bedford is full of that one-of-a kind Palm Springs charm that everyone will want to return to again and again!

SLEEPING QUARTERS
All of the bedrooms feature hotel-quality mattresses and linens, ample storage, and flat screen TVs. The master bedroom offers a King-sized bed, ensuite bath, and direct pool access through sliding glass doors. The other guest bedrooms have one King and two Queens respectively and share two full bathrooms.

THE LOCATION
This home is located in the Little Beverly Hills neighborhood - an intimate enclave of 84 single family homes - most were built by the Alexander Construction Company between 1957 and 1959. A few of the homes in this neighborhood were built by Mieselman. This is a quiet, picturesque and very walkable community bordered on two sides by a golf course. The panoramic fairway vistas and awe-inspiring mountain views are spectacular. The emphasis here is on easy living in the sunshine. The hustle and bustle of Palm Springs seems as though it is miles away from this sleepy little part of town - but grocery stores, casual eating places, sandwich shops, burger joints and frozen yogurt cantinas are all just blocks away. You can even walk to the Saturday morning Farmers Market or take in an independent film at the local movie house that hosts many of our Palm Springs Film Festivals.

Direct Bookings on www.acmehouseco.com or Via Phone* for stays of 28 days or less:

  • 100% Refund for Cancellations within 48 Hours of Making Booking. 
  • 30 days or more prior to the Arrival date, ACME House Company will process a 100% refund of all Reservation Charges, except the Booking Fee. 
  • Greater than 48 hours from Booking and between 8 & 29 days prior to arrival, guests will receive a partial refund of 50% of all Reservation Charges, except Booking Fee.
  • 7 days or less prior to arrival, 100% of All Reservation Charges are considered earned.

We’ve stayed in a couple of Air BnBs in Palm Springs and this one was AMAZING! Nice neighborhood, possible to walk to the supermarket, juice bar and health food stores. Park to run, stroll through adjacent to neighborhood, close to the airport but hardly any plane noise to hear. Downtown just a few miles away. Great location, pristine home, clean pool, yard. We had a wonderful stay!

This house was beautiful, well equipped, in a convenient location, and perfect for the size of our group. The one disappointing element was that the air conditioning was off when we arrived (even though the house guide said it would be on and set to a moderate temperature), so the inside temperature was 90 degrees and it took quite a while to bring it down. On another day we asked Acme to come inspect something in the house, and the maintenance appointment was prompt and pleasant; we really appreciated the good service. All in all, we had a lovely stay and would happily return in the future. Thank you, Acme!

I can't think of a more perfect location in Palm Springs than our home-for-a-week at Alexander on Bedford where we stayed with two other couples. Located in a very quiet and relaxing neighborhood, we found ourselves just minutes from everything...the airport, downtown, restaurants, hikes, shopping etc. And when we wanted to go just a little further, there was Joshua Tree, Idylwild, and the Palm Springs tram so close by. On ambitious mornings we'd find ourselves hiking out to a desert oasis at 9am, then back at home for a swim in the pool at noon. Games of Bocce ball in the front yard, or mini-golf in the side yard were perfect in the afternoon. Dinners, prepared in the well-equipped kitchen, were always enjoyed outside by the pool, at a heavenly temperature. Then on to the front yard to watch a beautiful sunset. And after that, usually blissfully tired, we couldn't wait to get into our soft, cool, and comfortable beds. Our stay in this well laid-out, beautiful home was a week of total relaxation! We truly hated to go back home.

Acme does an incredible job maintaining this Gorgeous mid century home. All the rooms are and common areas are spotless. All the features in and out side of the home work as they should. The location is very convenient, it is walking distance from sunrise park, coffee shops, grocery stores and restaurants. Be sure to catch the sun set in the front yard, the view of the Mountains as the light changes is an excellent feature. Super cozy home, great for groups, and or an intimate getaway with your family to recharge. I would highly recommend this vacation home for any business or leisure needs.

Great Getaway!!!

We stayed as guests of guests so we had no interaction with Acme but they appear to do a good job maintaining the property. The pool and yard were pristine; the linens are nice (including robes in the closet!). The house is a nice layout, especially for several families. The backyard is a paradise with a large covered patio with lots of dining and lounge seating. The BBQ is commercial quality and in a great location. There's a boce ball court, little putting green and more lounge area with umbrellas. The interior decor choices make it feel roomy despite having a lot of seating capacity for visiting and dining. I love the kitchen style and layout, which several people can use at the same time creating a feast. The location is convenient to stores, the airport, lots of Palm Springs-area attractions, and the neighborhood is very walkable and quiet. I look forward to our next visit.

Really nice mostly sparking clean place (shaggy rug could have been vacuumed much better) but otherwise perfect. Layout is great for three families with the bedrooms off both directions from main hang space which is great. Also I thought our baby would have to be in our room but the tv room had a door and was a perfect bonus room to put a baby in! Pool is great and the shaded area outside for eating or hanging out was perfect. Communication beforehand was really bad. Over a week to get answers to questions two different times. It felt very corporate leading up. BUT during our stay it was a total 180. They were so responsive and fast as fixing any issues and very nice on the phone. So it really helped wipeaway the bad before! Also GREAT shower pressure in the showers and fun little putt putt outside . And a great location too. We’d def stay again!

Our experience at the Alexander on Bedford was seamless. The Acme staff was easy to contact and made us feel accommodated and welcome. The house looked exactly like the photos and was even bigger than we expected. It was beautifully decorated, comfortable and had great indoor outdoor flow and a lovely pool lounging and dining area. This was a perfect fit for three cousins, their two sets of parents and a set of grandparents. I would definitely book with Acme again. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed this beautiful home.

Spring Break vacation

Overall Comment We had a really nice time in this house. We did find that Palm Springs’ new regulations regarding noise levels outside were prohibitive and did effect our ability to fully relax. The house was clean and in a niceness neighborhood. Sadly, there was so much construction and yard work at neighboring properties that created a lot of external racket. One tiny detail: the house needs to be equipped with much more hand soap and body wash. We were a large group who uses a lot of sunscreen. One tube of body gel was hardly enough to get us through the week. Overall, we had a great stay and we’d recommend the house to others.

Amazing Palm Springs Get Away

Have stayed at the house 3 times, so obviously we love it. Super stylish and comfortable, great location on a palm tree lined street near an (abandoned?) golf course. I like to go for a morning run or a sunset stroll to check out the amazing valley views, the birds and the gophers.
