South Lykken Trail

If you have time to only hike one trail in Palm Springs, make it the South Lykken Trail. On this 3.5-mile trail, you will be treated to wonderful views of Palm Springs, Mt. San Jacinto, the Coachella Valley and Tahquitz Canyon. The South Lykken trail is considered to be of moderate difficulty with an elevation gain of about 900 feet. We recommend you pack a lunch to enjoy at the trail’s picnic tables and get ready to jump in the pool at your Acme vacation home afterwards!
