Living Desert Zoo and Gardens

Our Coachella Valley vacation rental homes are so comfortable that you wouldn't be the first group to spend the entire time splashing in the pool, but one attraction worth getting out of the house for is the Living Desert Zoo & Gardens. The museum’s mission is to preserve the desert in its natural state and protect endangered species. Meet desert inhabitants like eagles, mountain lions, and rare Mexican wolves. Grab lunch, beers or a date shake on the patio at the Thorn Tree Grill or Coyote Café. The kids will love “Gecko Gulch” and “the Ant Lab”.  The Living Desert Zoo & Gardens is one of the most fun and educational attractions in the Palm Desert area!
