The exterior of this trendy restaurant is distinctly Spanish. The interior is distinctly not. Upon entering, you'll be surprised to find a 27-foot-tall cathedral ceiling and 17-foot-tall, sleek concrete booths. Old Palm Springs this is not, although the space is located in the historic El Paseo Building on North Palm Canyon. In 2015, the restaurant became Palm Springs’ first James Beard award winner for Outstanding Restaurant Design (in the category of over 75 seats). But don't let the Brutalist-like architecture throw you off. This place serves a market-driven menu that's made up of seasonal ingredients from local farms. Enjoy starters such as house-cured gravlax tartine and salt spring mussels, and entrées such as farro risotto or a mesquite-grilled pork chop. This is a super convenient location for our renters in Old Las Palmas and Ruth Hardy Park/Movie Colony neighborhoods.
