A Taste of Palm Springs

Palm Springs attracts millions of visitors each year thanks to its signature architecture, world-renowned music festivals, vibrant art and culture, and year-round blue skies. But visitors shouldn’t sleep on its exciting culinary scene, which includes everything from authentic Mexican cuisine to Japanese fusion and everything in between.

Booking a stay with ACME House Company indicates you have impeccable taste, so be sure to indulge your cravings while in proximity to a plethora of delicious dining destinations. From a refreshing morning cold brew in the to the best happy hours in town, we’ve got you covered with an eclectic itinerary designed to enhance your next Palm Springs getaway.

SHE’S THE BOSS

Cafe La Jefa

Looking for a refreshing way to super-charge your morning? There’s no better place to get your caffeine fix than Cafe La Jefa. Locally owned and operated on world-famous Palm Canyon Drive, Cafe Le Jefa is a Latin-influenced coffee house and eatery serving everything from specially brewed java to organically sourced bites. From cortados and matcha americanos to torrijas de leche and apple parfait, Cafe La Jefa is a great way to kickstart your day.

BONJOUR!

Parlez-vous français? No worries, you’re in Palm Springs not Paris. Farm is one of the city’s premiere French restaurants (see than Le Vallauris further down our list) featuring garden-like patio seating, beautiful bouquet and floral landscaping, and an authentic menu comprised of the freshest local ingredients.

We recommend the Brie Sandwich, served with pear, brie, date jam, arugula and hazelnuts.

MUY BUENO

El Mirasol

If you’re in the mood for margaritas, El Mirasol has you covered. With two locations — one right off Palm Canyon Drive and the other off Via Altamira — authentic Mexican cuisine is never more than a short Uber ride away. From palate-pleasing appetizers such as pollo en mole poblano to hunger-satisfying entrees like beef chile rojo, you’re sure to find something delicious to curb your cravings. And with brunch, lunch and dinner options available, you can take a siesta any time of day.

We recommend the classic De La Casa Margarita.

DINNER UNDER THE STARS

Bar Chingona

Indulge in the perfect blend of Latin cuisine and craft cocktails at Bar Chingona. Enclosed by the beauty of the San Jacinto Mountains and situated at a mid-century airstream under the stars, it’s the ideal Palm Springs paradise. Located at the Flannery Exchange on Palm Canyon Drive, Bar Chingona is open for brunch, lunch, and dinner offering a large array of delectable Latin cuisine.

We recommend the Banana Bag cocktail and Pato Con Zanahoria.

Equipped with an expansive resort-sized pool, lounge area, BBQ pit, and elevated counter seating, this is the perfect place to entertain yourself and others. Soak in the spa and absorb the sun with nearly hundreds of plants, shrubs and trees.

BON APPETIT

Le Vallauris

Dining al fresco is part of the Palm Springs experience and their many options to choose from, but none more elegant than Le Vallauris. Located in the heart of downtown, this restored historic landmark serves exquisite French cuisine handcrafted by Chef Jean-Paul Lair.

We recommend the Chicken Sausage on their lunch menu.

TASTY TAKEOUT

Sandfish

Craving Japanese seafood? Then Sandfish Sushi and Whiskey is for you. Chef Engin Onural has perfected the art of traditional Japanese sushi making with a global twist. His perfectly crafted dishes also come with unique whisky and cocktail pairings, ensuring your dining experience is especially memorable. And they do takeout, which means you can enjoy this five-star experience from the comfort of your five-star property from ACME House.

We recommend their signature Sandfish Roll.

RAISE THE BAR

Mr Lyon's

Looking for a five-star dining experience? Look no further than Mr. Lyon's featuring a classic steakhouse menu that puts small farms first. This Palm Springs staple boasts five dining areas, each with its own unique charms.

We recommend The Lounge, offering an upscale casual dining experience that includes the restaurant’s full menu plus handcrafted cocktails. Be sure to stop by during Happy Hour to enjoy a Mr. Lyons Honest Martini.

BRING A SUIT

Mr. Parker's

Dark, discrete and decadent, Mr. Parker's is a guy’s guy sort of place with a menu to match — epicurean, savory favorites with the chef’s personal inspirations mixed in. All of this with a wine list not meant for the faint of heart to create a truly satisfying dining experience. Jackets are required for men, though, so come dressed to impress.

We recommend the Wagyu NY Strip Steak.

AN INSTANT CLASSIC

Copley's

Opening its doors in 2004, Copley's was quickly recognized as one of the premier restaurants in Palm Springs. Offering a colorful array of contemporary American dishes, there’s no shortage of options. Noted not just for its food, Copley’s takes pride in creating an inviting atmosphere where everyone feels welcome.

We suggest trying the Lemon Lavender-Scented Pound Cake with basil ice cream.

HIDDEN GEM

EIGHT4NINE

If atmosphere is a major consideration of where you dine, EIGHT4NINE is the place for you. The striking minimalist architecture creates a blank canvas for you to enjoy the many colorful dishes on the menu.

We recommend the Pasta Limone Papppadella with enough lemon zest to truly stand out from the rest.

As you can see, Palm Springs has something for every taste, many of which are located near one of ACME House’s numerous five-star luxury home rentals. Be sure to pack your appetite.
